Job Description:
Xilinx Platform Studio is part of the award winning Embedded Development Kit (EDK) tool, used
for developing embedded systems on Xilinx FPGAs. The candidate will be responsible for leading
development related activities for Xilinx Platform Studio IDE in Xilinx Hyderabad. The candidate
will have the opportunity to work with a global team and provide technical leadership to the local
team. Specific job responsibilities include –
Extend and add features to the Xilinx Platform Studio IDE to support the next generation
Xilinx FPGA.
Work with the marketing organizations to define features for every release of the product.
Work with geographically spread out teams (XPS backend, Wizards, SDK and
documentation teams)
Maintain the current code base and ensure high quality for the IDE.
Help define and implement quality and feature goals for the product
Mentor and Lead a team of two to three engineers
Requirements:
Required
o
B.E/M.E/M.Tech or B.S/M.S in CS/EE with 10+ years of relevant experience.
o
Must have experience developing GUIs in Qt4.
o
Must be self-directed and an effective leader with good communication skills.
o
Experience with C++ required.
o
Experience with one of FPGA, embedded or EDA tools.
Preferred
o
Knowledge of XML and associated tools preferred.
o
Experience with Java preferred.
o
Usability metrics and measurement
