Job Description: Successful candidate will manage a team of four engineers who perform customer failure analysis on flash and antifuse based FPGAs in conjunction with US based teams. Responsibilities will include: - Manage Failure Analysis team including reducing turnaround times, generation of corrective actions following root cause analysis
- Perform office manager duties for Actel Jhubei Office (additional 4 employees)
- Leading and participating in cross-functional teams that focus on reducing non-conformance, FA Process, or supporting metrics tied to product and quality
- Work with foundries, Silicon Design teams and Technology Development groups to improve product quality and reliability
- Produce technical failure analysis reports and communicate with customers through emails, conference calls and customer visits (Pan-Asia)
Required Skills and Experience: - Minimum Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
- 7-10 years work experience
- Previous engineering management experience
- Strong organizational, communication (English and Mandarin) and presentation skills
- Quantitative and qualitative data analysis capability, problem solving techniques, root cause analysis, and quality assurance practices and concepts
- Circuit analysis at layout and schematic level and the ability to debug complex designs or fab related issues
- Candidate must possess solid understanding of digital circuits, CMOS logic, VLSI design, semiconductor physics.
- Design skills in Verilog / VHDL and automated tester experience is a plus.
